Encapsulating Stabilizer System [ESS]® Superfeet Black features a unique stabilizer cap for optimal underfoot support. When integrated with the shape and design of the foam full length, this combination creates a deep heel cup to cradle the heel’s fat pad for improved natural shock absorption. This system provides comfort and necessary stability for different activities, footwear and foot types.

The health of your feet has a dramatic impact on the health of your body. Many people don't realize that instability in the foot can lead to the painful skeletal alignment issues. Superfeet help relieve the pain and discomfort caused by an unsupported foot during everyday activities, sports and work.

SUPPORT THE FOOT. ALIGN THE BODY.

Many cushioned insoles are made with gel or soft foam alone. They may seem comfortable at first, but without a firm stabilizer cap, they fail to adequately support your feet. Like sleeping on a soft mattress or trying to run in soft sand, the cushioned feeling quickly subsides without proper support.

Non-supportive and gel-based insoles do not effectively align the body, and can increase fatigue and foot pain. Firm support under the foot helps improve the way your shoes fit your feet.

A better fit helps alleviate plantar fasciitis pain and helps reduce pronation, blisters, bunions and 'hot spots' caused from excess friction. When your foot is properly supported and aligned, stress on the muscles and ligaments is reduced.

Q: Can I use the Black Superfeet in a Gore-Tex lined boot?

A: We do not recommend using Superfeet Premium Black Insoles in Gore-Tex lined boots. The ridges in the heel area on the bottom of the Black plastic cap can cut through the Gore-Tex lining.

Q: Can I use the Black insoles in ice-skates?

A: The Black insole can fit into some ice-skates. One problem may be that the insole is too wide to fit down into the skate. The Superfeet Black insole was not designed for use in ice skates - we suggest using the Superfeet Yellow insole which was specifically designed for application in hockey and figure skates.

Q: What is the difference between the Black, the Blue, and the Green?

A: The differences between the Black, the Blue, and the Green are based on the style of shoe that you put the product into. The Black is for dress shoes that have low volume and fit tightly. The Blue is great in cleated athletic footwear or casual shoes, and the Green is for any shoe that has a full-length removable insole and has room for the product and the foot.

Q: Why is the Black recommended for golf shoes?

A: Superfeet Premium Black Insoles are ideal for dress style golf shoes because of the design taper in the arch of the plastic cap on the bottom of the insole. The design of the black plastic cap takes up a little less room in a golf shoe than the Superfeet Blue and Green. If you wear an athletic style golf shoe that has a removeable full-length factory insole, you may use the Green, Blue, or the Black.

Q: What can I do if the Superfeet Insoles increase my foot and shoe odor?

A:   Clean the Superfeet Insoles on a regular basis (twice a week).

      Remove the Superfeet Insoles from your shoes every night to let the shoes and Superfeet Insoles air out.

      Do not wear the same pair of shoes three days in a row.

      Try different brands of socks or nylons.

      Apply a teaspoon of baby powder under and on top of the footbed in the shoe.

      Apply some scented hand or body lotion to your feet.

      Try soaking your feet in warm water and Epsom salts for about 20 minutes, once or twice a week.
